Gangaram Biswakarma is an Assistant Professor at Tribhuvan University Faculty of Management and the Deputy Director of the Tribhuvan University School of Management. He is also the Board of Directors at Citizen Investment Trust (Nagarik Lagani Kosh), Ministry of Finance, Govt. of Nepal.
He was the topper of Tribhuvan University Service Commission (2017 batch-open category). He began his career as District Administrator Public Health (National Rural Health Mission, Government of India) in Arunachal Pradesh, India. He was also an Associate Professor at Career Point Technical Campus (Career Point University), India and Apex College, Pokhara University before joining the Tribhuvan University Service as Associate Professor and Head of Research and Extension Department.
He has earned his Master Degrees in Human Resource Management, Tourism management and Healthcare Service Management, with an M. Phil, Ph. D in Human Resource Management from various universities in India.
Presently he is a Post-Doctoral Fellow of Srinivas University, India. Dr. Biswakarma has also completed Faculty Development Program (FDP) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong, India; certificate course on Business and Sustainability from IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Spain; certificate course on People Analytics, Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania; certificate course on University Teaching, The University of Hong Kong, 2020.
He is an expert on data analytics using IBM SPSS, IBM AMOS, and SmartPLS. He was trained in IBM SPSS at International Institute of SAS Training and Research, New Delhi, India; Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS from Institute of Technology Management, Hyderabad, India; Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS with support from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) Institute of Technology Management, Germany.
He has authored 50+ research articles which includes 5+ papers in Scopus SJR Q1, Q3, Q4, and 2-star JPPS Journal. In addition, he authored 10 books in the area of Organisational Behaviour, Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship, Performance Management System, Managing Human Resource, Strategic Human Resource Management and interaction of Tourism with indigenous people. He is also associated with international and national journal’s editorial review boards.
He undertakes research consultancy to various research organizations in Nepal, which includes Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Government of Nepal; Profession Development and Research Centre, Helvatas, Chance for Change, Sahid Gangalal Heart Hospital etc.
He is also involved in entrepreneurship, social research, social work, and advocacy on social inclusion, empowering marginalized youths. Popularly, he is known as Dr. Gang in his beloved student community.
